Your Feedback Matters!

Thank you to all those who have shared their thoughts to fine-tune actions and implementation steps for our Plan through surveys and focus groups! While we have completed the public surveys for this planning process, there are still opportunities to shape the plan and review materials developed during the process.

We held a public meeting on December 7th, 2021 to generate discussion on the draft materials. You can view the presentation slides and view the recording of the meeting.

The public is invited to review all materials generated by the Resilient Watertown Stakeholder Advisory Group (RWSAG) so far! We encourage you to send feedback and ideas to our email: resilient@watertown-ma.gov

Public comment period on the Resilient Watertown Draft Plan will be in February.

Five Plan Elements

Resilient Watertown

Our Plan

There are two levers for acting on climate change: reducing our GHG emissions and adapting to unavoidable changes. Our Climate & Energy Plan will identify opportunities to reduce GHGs, while enhancing our community’s resilience to those climate hazards we are already experiencing.

Survey One asked Watertown residents about their priorities and concerns in each of these five planning areas. Check out the first Survey Engagement Report to learn more!
